I laughed a little bit at the idiocy of the mother of Danielle. She loved her baby alright, so much that she never wanted her to grow up.

This woman is an idiot, and she angers me a bit. Whats more is that she thinks she didn't do anything wrong. Can you say therapy? I mean this woman is practically screaming for it.

I hate people who can not see the wrong doing that they've done. If it is to their own selves, I honestly do not care, but when they screw around with other people then I've got issues. Where was Danielle's father? Was he aware of how she had be treated when she was with her mother? Does he care at all for her? No, I don't think so.

I think the mother has problems defining the term 'love' and what it means. Its not that difficult to grasp really. Its when you have strong feelings towards someone and you will do what ever you can to make said person happy, or do what ever is right for them, even if it hurts you. She clearly was not aware of this. The article stated that Danielle smiled for the first time in a long time, what does that say about the mother? Why didn't the mother let her grow as person if she loved her so much? The mother is messed up.

I feel so bad for Danielle, because she can not talk, and she wasn't found earlier. This means that they can't undo much of what she's already learned. Re-teaching her basic life skills will be extremely difficult and the fact that no one might take her in, never the less keep her brakes my heart because what these kids need is a person who is there for them more than anything. And that is something social rehabilitation centers and social workers just can't provide unless there is adoption papers in tow, which is sadly unlikely.
